Ralph, just paid my CMAC sub this afternoon so I’m covered for insurance. Eoin also. What do I owe you for membership only?  I’ll send for both of us.

TO ALL MACI CLUB SECRETARIES
Currently, digital communication has become increasingly important. I have
sent several emails to the MACI membership and been frustrated by the
relatively large number of emails bounced back due to incorrect email
addresses.
To correct this and other inaccurate information contained on the database, I
have been given approval at the virtual council meeting on the 9 th Feb 2021 to
change the method of member renewal this year.
The usual club members renewal form will not be issued. Instead, each
member will be required to complete a single membership renewal form which
is available on the MACI website. The completed form should then be sent
with the relevant fees directly to the club secretary /treasurer who will
forward them to the MACI treasurer Liam Broderick in the usual way.
There are a few noticeable differences between the new form and its
predecessor.
1. The members IAA registration number is required
2. The large model section is a reminder to renew all large models annually
3. The non- club member option is not available on this particular form.
MACI is aware that some members may have issues with the IAA registration
process. We advise that in the first instance those members should contact
their club secretary who should endeavour to put them in contact with
someone who can help with the process. Failing that, and only in the most
extreme circumstances, the club secretary should contact MACI. This facility
will expire on the 13 th March. Note that MACI have negotiated with the IAA, an
extension of the reduced registration fee of €5 until the 31st March. This
increases to €30 on April 1 st .
All completed forms together with the fees should be returned to the MACI
treasurer no later than Friday26th March.
Please ensure all club members are aware of these changes.

TO ALL MACI MEMBERS
Due to the large amount of incorrect and out of date information contained on our database I am taking this annual renewal as an opportunity to have each renewing member provide accurate and up to date membership details. This will involve each member completing a new (2021) membership application form which is available on the MACI website.
The completed form, together with the relevant fees should be forwarded to the relevant club officer who will forward it to the MACI treasurer as normal. No other renewal forms will be accepted.
The renewal form requires the member’s IAA registration number. MACI is aware of difficulties some members may have issues with the registration process. We advise, that, in the first instance those members should contact their club secretary who will endeavour to put them in contact with someone who can help with the process. Failing that, and only in the most extreme circumstances, the club secretary should contact MACI on their behalf. This facility will expire on 13th March. Please note that MACI have negotiated with the IAA an extension of the reduced registration fee of €5 until the 31st March. This increases to €30 on April 1st.
MACI require large model registration to be renewed annually. The new forms require members to indicate compliance by ticking a box.
The option to join MACI as a non- club member on this particular form has been removed.
Due to the increased workload involved, processing members cards may take a little longer than usual.
I thank all MACI members for their co-operation which will improve the communication between MACI council and the membership.
Despite current circumstances, membership has remained consistent with previous years. Hopefully we will get together soon to enjoy our sport.
Stay well.
Regards.  Kevin Manning (membership officer)
