So,……….that’s an 808 er? A wheel in the tail as well! Do you guys have runways to land your gliders on in NI? (Very posh) Cool

To show my ignorance John, is she designed for light winds or will she fly in strong conditions. Any good for DSing? Wink

Nice pictures as well……………. Applaude

Keith

Hi Keith

The 808 is a smooth model to fly. We flew last night in wind speeds of 21mph gushing to 27mph, the glider did not want to come down. Now that the CofG is sorted, she should fly in lighter winds. The only down side of this glider is the poor roll rate, the control surfaces are not at the tips, so she requires a large amount of throw, with added rudder mixed in (I use 60% mix), still the glider looks good in the air with a good speed range.

Hi Fred , these are the small cliffs !
I flew of the large cliffs on Monday and it was unreal the amount of lift I was getting.
You really have to make it up to visit us and have a bit of fun on the North Coast and the Sperrin Mountains.
I need a beer drinking buddy lol
