went for a run in the car and took the model with me i had a few idea's of where the wind might suit
but when i got to 1st Dunboe church the wind is straight east and there's nothing facing that direction even the gliding club don't fly in an easterly wind  :(

Fred this is some glider
thanks :D
can't wait to fly it again, the roll rate was brilliant and lost none of the forward speed, and i think i'll be able to take some of the lead out of the nose
terry's making me some decals for it

Hi Andrew, if you have an easterly try along the east strand at the Port !!!!!!
I have flown the blaster along the beach wall and it is mega fun in the sun  8)
There is also Ranmore head, but it is a cliff so no rescue if something goes wrong.
I intend to plot  slope sites this summer along the North Antrim Coast.
It should make a great few days of fun flying.
If you and Terry are up to join me this will add to the fun. JP will be there of course

Great News Andrew !
OK back to Quark, and I am still awaiting my carbon tubing.
It has been lost by TNT ! reordered it from another company and the bank transfer is not showing up on there system.
Can anyone do their "peep" job nowadays ,

Alright, I'm back! Sorry for the long silence, mad week!

Congrats again Andrew    So, where are the photos and videos!  :P

Mountains started to get covered in snow here... I'll be off a few days next week, might get some flying time before the roads close if the snow continue to fall!

We are also suffering snow on the Sperrins so Christmas maybe a time to eat drink and be Merry lol.
Will post a pic or 2 of my 2m Quark fus !
Just the Rudder to make and fit, I have changed the amount of throws so need to build a new rudder and stab to allow for 75 degree throws

Yip Fred it is do or die time lol
I have some really sweet manouvers that I would like to try with  the Quark Glider,
I am having really bad luck in getting carbon and this has held my build up. first the carbon was lost now I reordered and the payment has dissappeared into cyber space.
Dealing with banks is a tricky business, no one can give me answers and today I get an 8 page form to fill out.
I have 30m of solar film , 100 servos and 50 carbon tubes in this order, alot of money to lose  :x
Anyway that is life !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Gerry last nite was minus 5 so everything is on the back burner !
Too cold you go into the shed.
Plus I have been extremely busy this last few weeks.
