4mtr Alpina wing retaining clips
« on: March 31, 2012, 21:39:15 PM »
Okay, so what we have here are the two wing halves of my Alpina.
Now this model is very old, in excess of 20 years I’m told, and looking at the two wing roots the lower one has a small male plastic locating “clip” poking out of the root. (Looks a bit like a big nipple  )
The top wing root is missing the same locating “nipple“, because it’s broken off. The female parts of these clips are secured in the fuse. These clips are what hold the two wing halves to the fuse when in flight.

The question is,…….does anyone know if
a) it is possible to get any more of these male clips? and :?:
b) where can they be got? :?:

If these parts can not be located any more, does anyone have any ideas how to hold the wings to the fuse by any other means??

(Questions, questions, my life is full of questions....... )
