Ar! Two Chris Foss designs.
Chris:
As I said to you on the mountain, that’s a very nice looking P6. Especially with those “Home Made” fuse sides. I’m wondering what the AUW is, being an all ‘glassed’ airframe. Mine weighs 1.35Kg.
The building instructions declare the AUW as 1.2Kg with three servos. (A central servo for ailerons and no flaps.) Given that mine has twin aileron servos and twin servo operating flaps I recon I’m pretty near the “norm.”
Out of curiosity what does yours weigh?
Bill:
I’ve never seen a P5 in the flesh, so to speak. (They’re not made any more now are they?) Don’t know if the span and length are the same (or the airfoil) but I recon that P5 looks very much like a High Wing semi symmetric P6. Good to see you’ve built a full house wing. Gives much more flexibility for differing wind conditions doesn‘t it.
So………….how did it fly?
? We demand to know! :!:
