Saw the 3D printer doing nothing today, so I got it busy by printing a small horten wing that will join my small scale model collection.
A bit of filler and paint, and that should not look too bad!

Happy Days:
Do you remember that guy from Germany (can't remember his name :-\) who had built a couple of Horten wings and flew them during Retroplane Ireland?

I do remember :) Great evenings at the slope with the Germans! It was Lothar Mentz.

But from the German crew, I have a very sad news unfortunately :( Walter Wachtler passed away unexpectedly on Sunday  :'(

Lothar! that was the man. Very nice guy. ( but then they all were.)

As for Walter,.....I don't remember him by name although I'd probably remember his face. Sad news, poor chap.

Walter W. was from Austria. He wasn't with us in Ireland.
