Dusting off my small collection :)
(1/1)
Fred:
It does have to happen from time to time :) brought down my 20+ years radios (a few 3030 and 3010 missing in that photo!)
Half of them brand new still in box. They knew how to make them! The sticks on all of them are still very smooth :) metal casing for most of them etc.
Soon, they will be on a shelf to be admired every day :)
If you have old radios and don’t know what to do with them, I’ll be happy to add them in my collection :D ;D
The Europa Sprint will go flying again next year, and looking for a vintage subject for the Futaba 2 (from 1976 that one)
Mc 16, my very first programmable radio
Mc 18, my second one. Brought it with me from France when I moved here. Still in 41mhz :)
Techniplus (Acoms in the UK): my first pay cheque :)
Mc 3030, after my mc18, until I moved to 2.4ghz
To complete the mc series I owned, need to find a mc10 :) I was Graupner for years! The only other brand I had, was an Attack 4 from Futaba that I never liked.
Good days! :D
Fred:
Mc18 needed a good clean! :-[
Fred:
While I post the photos, remembered I also had a 6014 (loved that one!! V tail option, dual rates etc!! :) ), C8 and a 414 :)
rogallo:
Fred,
what did Rachel tell you about using the kitchen table.
Careful now!!!
:)
Fred:
I am the Alpha!!
I do whatever she allows me to do ;D
I did asked her to dust them off. Not sure what happened, I only remember a flash and waking up in hospital. I must have fell in the stairs again, silly me.
