Must admit I prefer the Stemme nosecone and prop that folds away inside to give a far more streamlined approach!!

I wonder how difficult it would be to fold the blades back into enclosed recesses in the fuselage when not in use?

Aidan,
Do a search for Steem S10. It folds it's blades back in behind the spinner when not in use

Hey Aidan,

In fact the system is really simple ! The blades, instead of folding backward, they are foldind up/downwards, a spring allowing them to fold on themselves (well, at least on the RC version, but I'm pretty sure the system is roughly the same on the full scale one  :?: )

I have some photos of the entire system somewhere from MCM Stemme if interrested  :D

The full size boys are always behind us poor rc pilots, front props Ha, Ha, old tech to us glider pilots, what about jet power!!!
