Bon, Ok, vous viendez quand alors? C'est pour les gars d'Irlande du Nord, pour leurs vacances, je crois qu'ils doivent les poser assez tot (dans mon cas, ca va, j'ai le temps).

Et puis, quand on sait quand vous venez, c'est pile le week end ou il faut qu'on evite d'aller a la pente  :lol:  :P

Pour le WE, on a 4 chambres, une pour Ronan, une pour Lolo, et deux qu'on va se partager avec les gars d'Irlande du Nord, j'amene des mateles aussi, car il risque d'y avoir du monde!  :D
Pour le reste de la semaine, on est que nous a l'etage  :D

On a tout reservé pour vous, nous. On a un manque de chambre (trop de monde!) pour le week end, mais sinon, on a 3 chambres de reservé pour nous toute la duree du sejour  :D
J'ai ce qu'il faut pour du a boire, et au pire, on dort au dessus d'un pub  :lol:

J'amene des matelas pneu, car je crois qu'il y en a qui vont dormir dans le salon le week end!  :wink:  :lol:

10 Jours!
P'tain, va falloir que je m'active a preparer les planeurs!
Tres long week end ici (4 jours  :D ).

Par contre, faut voir le temps! 22 degres la semaine derniere, tempete de ciel bleu... Et la tempete aussi... de neige!  :shock:  :shock:

M'enfin, vaut mieux que les merdouilles de l'Atlantique se deverse sur nous cette semaine!  :D

Sorry guys, I'm not going to make it down next weekend. Been having problems with my back.

 Last weekend did a test run and went up to Slieve Gallion, an hour each way. By the time I got back I could barely stand!  :cry:

On Thurs I had 5 injections into the small of my back to try and relieve some of the pain. Leaves me in absolute agony and will last for about a week, so a 4 hour drive each way next weekend is a definite no no  :!:  :!:

I'm hoping that the injections will allow me to get out a bit more this Summer, but there's still the unpleasant possibility of more surgery. :(  :(

Hope to be down in Sept. :?:

Bon, on se retrouve ou Jeudi alors?
De l'aeroport, vous serez directement sur la route pour allez a la pente (M50, M11 direction Ferns).
Je peux vous attendre a Ferns? C'est a la fin de l'autoroute.
Ou ailleurs, comme vous voulez, c'est les vacances :)

Pour le temps, difficile de dire, il y a 15 jours, c'etait l'été avec 22, 23 degres, et la semaine derniere, on a eu de la neige!
A priori, pour la semaine, froid (10 degres), et gros vent de NE (le top du top pour Mt Leinster!!  :D  :D ) et risque de pluie faible... Mais bon, ca peu changer!

J'ai 12 planeurs de pret, de 60cm a 5m, pour tous les temps, ca devrait la faire  :lol:

Ok, de l'aeroport, vous etes a 1h20 de Ferns, que de l'autoroute.
Je pense que le plus simple, est de se retrouver a Ferns, car c'est rush hour a 17hrs, je vais pas vous faire sortire de l'autoroute.

Je vous attend a l'entree de Ferns, il y a un parking devant une eglise.
Quand vous sortez d l'autoroute, faites sonner mon telephone et je vous rappelle. Ferns est a 10 minutes de la sortie a peine  :D

Donc, aeroport --> M50 Southbound --> M11 --> Ferns (fin de l'autoroute), rien de plus simple.

Une fois sur la M50, direction sud, c'est toujours tout droit, la M50 se change en M11, vous passez dans les Wicklow mountains etc (chouette coin).

Ceci dit, j'y pense, si vous preferez, je peux vous attendre a un pub sur la route! Et on fait le chemin ensemble

Ok, first of all, thank you all for coming from all over the Island!  :clap:
I think it's safe to say that we had fun!  :D  Some good laughs, good chat, good flying, good friends and some good drinks!  A good mix for a great 3 days session!

Time for some more action! A bigger contingent headed to Mt Leinster. I think we were about 20 at some stage  :clap:
Lots and lots of flying (one of my radio had 5 hours at the end of the day...) even with the weather throwing pretty much everything at us! Rain, eels stones, sleet, and even snow!! Fortunately, that never realy lasted long, and it was sunny most of the day with a very good wind (around 25km/h).

Richard took the opportunity to maiden his Quark (great color scheme in B&W!). What can I say... Launch, rolls, and off he went.. Though he had an issue with the radio, but no  :mrgreen:  (Video soon!)

We all ended up having dinner at the Carlton Hotel in Bunclody, with some very good food, and a wine, not even good enough to make vinegar (well yeah, some French were here!!  :D  Especially with the Chablis and Bordeaux that Ralph brought with him the night before  :clap: Yummy!  \:D/  )

Monday : Off to the slope again, to be welcomed by 60km/h winds, 80 gust. Managed to break my ASW15 when at launch, the glider slipped away from Ronan's hands, and landed backward  :oops:
Only a broken rudder and canopy (new one on its way already  :D )
Got lucky on that one, as that was pretty stupid  :oops:  :oops:

Ralph flew his Wisper, but after about an hour of battling the wind, the wind finally won, and we all went back to the car park for a last cup of coffee / tea, and to say goodbye to Ralph and Les.

J'ai pensé que je pourrais essayer quelque chose d'un peu différent. Je ne parle pas français, mais pensé que je pourrais laisser l'ordinateur le faire pour moi. Un peu plus de travail pour moi, mais peut être utile de donner à ceci un essai de rencontrer plus de patrons de base à travers l'étang. Voici quelques photos de notre piste favorite, Une regarder du Nord. Nous sommes capables de voler avec des vents du sud-ouest sur ​​une pente qui se trouve sur la face arrière. c'est notre rôle au favori de cette butte de voler sur que c'est seulement 30-35 mètres de haut. Il fonctionne, mais pas notre préféré et parfois nous ne sommes pas prêts à faire le 50km de voler. Comme la colline s'enroule autour du sud au nord et plus à l'Est, il devient plus grand et plus lisse au visage.
  On peut voler avec des vents de l'Ouest, du Nord-Ouest, Nord, Nord-Est et de l'Est. Voici quelques premières photos du bas vers le sud, puis à partir de là-haut regarder d'abord vers l'ouest, puis le nord, puis vers l'est puis vers le sud. Les photos des avions sont quelques-uns de mes frères et de mes avions.
