Just a little note to wish all you fellow rc pilots a Merry Xmas. :D

Do try and stay sober this christmas guys, after all the government has said that we all have to tighten our belts this year. :(

So no brandy to ’flame’ the christmas pud. (I’ve always thought it was a waste of good liquor anyway. Besides, a wee drop of nitro is much easier to light. And the way my misses makes puds, it makes no difference to the taste at all.)

After this very cold spell is over we are going to have a “Bumper” sloping season. I can feel it in my bones!

Once you’ve opened your pressies tomorrow, come on the forum and tell us what you’ve got. :)  (Flying wise that is.  We’re not interested in how many bottles of smellies, or new socks ect you received. )

Love and kisses to you all…………………   .

Keith

Happy Christmas to you to Keith, and to everyone else.
God I hope we do have a bumper slope season next year. This snow can't go away too soon.

Hey Keith and all,

A very happy Christmass to you all  :D
I hope you've all been good boys (I am sure you were!    :P  ) and Santa was very generous with all things flying  :D

Happy Christmas!  :D

Well, aren’t you a lucky person! 8)

Wasn’t it an Opal Glider that was originally launched by rockets?
Are we going to see any pyrotechnics from yours John?

Er,………..got the wings built yet have you? :D  after all, you‘ve had it for 24hours.

Hi Keith

Yes I have a few solid rocket motors in the workshop, When I get around to starting the Opal, I will add a compartment for the rocket motor. It will be fired only for effect in the air, the solid motors are small with limit thrust.

An example of the type of rocket motors which could be used!

Hi Richard, may be we could get those socks to fly  :?:
