Just read this news item. Seems electric flight is taking a few steps nearer

Two words: Range Anxiety.

I'm not sure I'm ready for my first full size electic flight quite yet.
It's interesting that the aircraft used shrouded fans though.
Is that a sign of things to come on 'conventional' aircraft?
