Hi Guys,
I'm building my first model glider - an Echo Fox. The wing ribs on this model are notched into the wing trailing edge. Is there any recommended technique for cutting out the notches.
Do you just mark the notch out in pencil and then cut each side of it with a very fine saw and then chisel out the middle bit? The notches are small, but I'm guessing there is no special tool for doing it?
Many thanks,
Zug

If it's 1/16" or 1.5mm slots you need, try taping 2 hacksaw blades together and aligning the centre to the mark.

Thanks Bill.
The ribs are actually 3 mm wide. So I might try 3 blades taped together.
