Title: Slope soaring diorama
Post by: Fred on February 21, 2021, 18:02:07 PM
Alright so, with the bad weather we had on Saturday, had to keep busy! While looking at finally do my 1/72 scale SG38 diorama, found my Notch aeromodeller set! Time to make a slope diorama!
Base is made of polystyrene foam. Grass is a Notch Matt. Nothing fancy, quick and easy!
Less is more in that case, I think I managed to translate the slope atmosphere a bit.

Hope you like it :)

Looks great Fred. How did you do the characters and gliders, did you use an SLA printer?

Hey Andy,

Thanks :) I really kept it simple on that one! Figures are from Noch, so as the grass.
They do a set of aeromodellers. Not sure if still available, bought that a few years back.

I am thinking of another one, but flat field, aerotowing theme... I might print those ones as I'd like to go 1/48 in scale :)

Anyway, looks good in my gliders shelves :)
