Haven't  seen or heard from Fred for a while.
I guess he must be busy in Lapland helping Santa get all our Christmas pressies read!
I am hoping a Lear-jet appears some day soon if he can find the time.

Hi Fred,
I would be happy to build anything in the list but would really fancy a learjet about 1200mm wing span a P47 would also be nice. I was thinking of scaling up the free plan in RCM&E to 200% could you suggest an air-foil to use?

Hi John,
I just completed the first proper flight with the Baby on Mt Leinster last weekend, it flew really nicely with just a tad of up trim required.
I had attempted to fly it back in April but only succeeded in an short flight out and back to land as the model failed to climb. The lift on that particular slope may have been a bit marginal or it may have been me not letting the model pick up enough speed. I decided that it would be best to wait for more favourable conditions before attempting a second flight. I also rechecked the decalage and increased the angle by about 1/2 degree.
There are some pics on the 2018 events page thanks to Fred.
Looking forward to many more enjoyable flights with her.

Thanks Ralph
Its for a Hobbyking ASW 28  the motor has a 4mm shaft so if it fits the motor it may do to get the model in the air. I broke mine following a bad launch on MT Leinster last week. Have one on order from Topmodel and it might arrive before we leave for Cork on Friday afternoon.

Thanks Ralph,
I have just booked into the Trident  Kinsale as Eileen has decided to come down for the break.
Would you or anyone else attending by any chance have a spare 40mm x 4mm spinner for a folding prop. I broke mine "cheap Hobbyking unit "at the weekend and have ordered a replacement but not likely to arrive before Friday.
Where are we likely to be meeting up on Saturday can you post coordinates on Friday evening?

See you Saturday

Hi All
Happened to be in Wexford today with work, Took the time to check access to Mt Leinster road not yet cleared on the approach from Kilteely last 500 to 600 meters is still blocked. Then tried approach from Bunclody could only get to westerly parking spot and sign saying road closed.
As you can see in the photos road has been cleared up to where it enters the clouds so might just be open tomorrow.
Bring snow shoes or skies and wrap up well! I will head down just to catch up with everyone if nothing else,

See you tomorrow

Look good to me put me down for 10 also, I would agree with Bill's choice regarding design and graphics.
