This is the ExCali, a California-style reinterpretation of Eric Poulain's classic Excalibur VTPR glider.

We are creating a series of prototypes in EPP and when we are satisfied, we intend to create a final version with a fiberglass fuselage and foamcore veneered wing.

This is the first prototype completed, built by my friend and close collaborator "Swiss" Peter Richner. It flies wonderfully although the wing flexes a bit much - that'll get fixed ;)

Specs:
2.5m
1100g
all EPP with CF reinforcement
All moving tail capable of Madslide-style 180* rotation

Thanks,

Steve
