Hi all
A little busy at work, so I have not been on the forum. retroplane was fantastic, so good, I have started looking for a vintage plane plan already, hopefully to fly in next years competition. I have some pics on my picasa albums, feel free to use any.
Bill I was out on the slopes this evening flying the DL 50, winds less than 6mph, lift poor, however this little glider flew great, a real test and good craic to keep the glider in the air. looking forward to Sept. slope event at Mount Leinster, my have a few more from the north coming down also.

Hi John,
Glad you're getting some flying in, I'm not! Neck has gone again, doing of all things, lifting my briefcase off the desk down to the floor!!

What size and type of model are you looking at?

Lots of FREE plans here:

http://www.vintagesailplaner.com/

and info here: http://www.scalesoaring.co.uk/

There's also the Clif Charlesworth and Chris Williams plans

Give me a call and we can have a chat about it

Hi Bill, up late tonight

I got the links you sent me thanks, some great plans. I like some of the vintage gliders that the German guys flew at retroplane, I was very impressed with the speed range of these gliders, after all Bill, you know if it's fast, I like it.

I think I may have a photo of the glider I fancy, which I took at retroplane, yes I have, it's the glider sitting on the ground in the following
photo

Maybe Bill you can name this glider.

Good morning all,  :D

Sorry, been quiet too (for a change !   ).
Thanks a lot Bill for the photos, so as John ! Some really good shot there !

John, this is a Reiher. I have a plan in DXF, let me find it in my messy laptop filing system !
I can try to print a copy for you when you are coming down, or I can send it to you. I let you know for the size of the model...

By the way, more photos were added on the Retroplane Galery ( http://www.retroplane.net/album/thumbnails.php?album=lastup&cat=-47 ) and a resume of the event (in French... Will do one in English !) here :

Hi Fred

Thanks for the plan offer, I can get it printed if you can send me the file, john@netstretch.com, one of my clients runs a copy shop and can print very large plans at a good price.

Stephan made a wonderful article for AUFWIND about Retroplane 2009 with a lot of fascinating pictures. I think I have to come one day to a Retroplane-meeting too.  :) :) :)

The magazine will come out in October.

Eventually got round to getting my films developed. Unfortunately, it looks like I need a new camera!! One film was useless and the other not much better. Here is the best of what I got (I use th eterm "best" very loosely!!)

Vincent, sorry I never sent the video. Most of it was very poor and unuseable. Think I should stick to flying!!
