OK guys as you know the MACI Glide-in is this SATURDAY the 14th of June at Tountina near Ballina/Killaloe.
Pilots aiming to be at the slope around 10:30 a.m.
Unfortuately I don't have a clear map for directions. Most of you will have been on Tountina before and know where you are going. For those who need directions head to Ballina/Killaloe and contact Gerry Buckley. Gerry is happy to direct people to the slope. Finger crossed for good weather!!

Cool, thanks Joe.

Well, I know how to get to Killaloe...

Who is going to Killaloe ? We can all meet there, let's say at around 9 - 9.30 am and then, head to the slope ?

What do you think ?

Back yesterday from the National  :D

What a great day ! Sun (ok, 2 minutes of rain in the morning, same in the afternoon...), good wind, good slope and lots of gliders ! Perfect mixture for a very good day !
Thanks to Gerry for organising/hosting the event

Here are some photos, I think I have everybody ! Video will follow soon !
Special mention to Gerry who brought his really nice ASK13 !    Really rare to see hand build vintage scale machines over here ! Flew beautifully with great realism !
Maybe a bit of "parti pris" there !    :P

Told you that was a sunny day !

Yep, that's a nice view !

Yes, indeed, a great day, I've never flown so much on one day!  What a fantastic site, with stunning views, and endless cushy landing zones :D . Thanks to Ger and all who were involved in organising!

And thanks to Fred for the great photos  !

Yep, I agree Alan   Another brilliant day missed
But... just couldn't get there and back in time. It's a good 3½ to 4 hours drive from here.
And it's visitor season in this house.
Still... only another 3 lots to go

It's in the calendar for next year though.

Thanks for all the photos Fred
