Not looking great as in no wind or rain or both? It has been good weather here in Dublin most of the week and last weekend was great, was hoping to work on my tan this weekend on the sun kissed slopes of the big L!!!

Yeah, despite my belief that ‘props are for pussies,’ if the forecasters can be believed, I think a little bit of electric thrust could be beneficial this weekend. Mercifully no rain is forecast but only 2 - 5 kph SE winds on Sunday.

I think this is gonna be a weekend for 'Floaters' lads.

Oh well, Fred will be happy! :D

So the late nights I have been putting in this week trying to get a new sloper finished may be for nought      :?:

I think I may have an electric model I can put back together for backup (I scavenged the parts for the glider). I suppose somebody could tow my little micro quark up to a reasonable hight for me?

Hello all :)

Well, if you start to look at forecast and rely 100% on them, you might fly maybe once a year

Bring a light glider, and an heavy one.
That's also not bad from time to time to fly something like you don't have an engine, a bit of thumbs/brain flying don't hurt from time to time  :P

Well, anyway, Little Keith knows me too well :)  :P
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

Fred: The only man I know who can fly a 7kg glider on nothing more than a rabbit’s fart.

He makes me sick  .  (and he’s French, which hurts all the more! )

Enjoy the weekend. I'm out of action.................AGAIN!

Have a gallstone giving me real problems, spent a fair bit of this week throwing up! NHS taking forever to get me in and have it removed, but hopefuly I'll be fit for next year  :?:

Keith, Andrew has something for you from me. Small token for the model you passed on to me a few years ago.

Good Morning folks!

Here is the big L this morning in all her glory (Clear of cloud) :D .
Alas at 07.30 the wind speed was zero. :(  Temperature is 12 degrees C. Provided the wind picks up a little there is the makings of an enjoyable day. :D  :D

C U up there.

Fist flight of the day. Wee bit of a breeze here having trouble keeping my wing in the air. Need to try with something lighter
