Multiplex Flamingo / Flamingo Contest
« on: May 22, 2015, 12:19:42 PM »
Hi all,

I try my luck :)
I am looking for the good old MPX Flamingo / Flamingo Contest.
Even in need of repairs :)
I need something in the 3m range, and after flying at Tountinna last Wednesday, realised that I really need one, and of course, Wally's Flamingo reminded me that I always wanted one :) (and Jim's one remind me as well.. How cruel! :( )

Anyone?  :D
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

Hey Fred Richard has a contest and I remember him flying it a few years ago on slieve gallion and I remember thinking I'd love one of those  :D but they're a bit like hens teeth these days hard to find  :shock:
I have a flamingo 2006 and I never had any luck with it since the day and hour I got it  :cry: it was a brilliant flying model but I've fixed the wings and tried fixing the fuselage to a point it's time to bin it  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:
i\'m an ordinary man nothing special nothing grand

Ralph. Do I have one? I'll take a pic of mine. I think it may be a Flamingo. Bought it off of you a few years back. Flapped wing, all flying tailplane?????? 3 or so meters?

Kevin you have a Flamingo 2001, it is the latest version, not the one that Fred is looking for, different vintage.

@Kevin
If you are ever interested in parting with please let me know. Always loved the flamingo. Loved the Alpina too.

@Fred with all your skills surely you could design and kit a similar model  :)
