Back on the slope
« on: April 24, 2021, 21:20:05 PM »
At last - back on the slope with a pandemic project - a refurbished model that is 50 years old this year.  Those of you of a certain vintage will know exactly what this model is.

Spot on Bill! Up at Glencree in the Easterlies.  The old Impala flew well again with a new lease of life.

Lightest of winds at Glencree yesterday - but perfect for F3Res off the slope!

Not quite back on the slopes for us. An impromptu meet in Cork with electrics and towing. We missed having a bigger group but there will always be a next time.

Looks like some good flying down in Cork over the weekend. Wind was from the west at Killakee on Saturday. First flight of my Hammer. Flies very much like the Mefisto but with more momentum. Sorry Fred - missed your post on Sunday until after the wind had swung easterly again.
