Flair K 8
« on: September 29, 2006, 13:32:22 PM »
Hi there,
just wondering if anyone has built the Flair K8. I started mine 2 1/2 years ago and still tipping away. Lost interest, lost my way but still intend to Finish.
I also have a West Mendip Sailplanes HS101 Salto (again a work in progress)
Well Hope to hear from someone with the building blues too!
Ralph

Fancied a flair Ka8 for a while now.So if ya can't be bothered finishing it!
It think Flair will be making them available again soon.I spoke to them and they said they had new kits cut and were just waiting for canopies and air brakes. We shall see.
I may have to hold out and see if a friend of mine can cut me one!

I hope to build one over the winter from the Cliff Charlsworth plan,(at the speed I build models it may take longer  :) ).

Sorry I have been out of the loop for so long. I have been quit unwell the last few week (spent three weeks in hospital) and it looks like I will be unwell for a few weeks more. So you won't see me flying for a while.

I'm back, wings dusted off and the fuse is now looking like a plane ( and not a box of matches) The plan is to be flying within the next 6 weeks :D  :D  :D
Only a few years of a break. So what colour scheme.... I was thinking of this one   http://gliding.tardis.ed.ac.uk/database/Page/view/homepage
