Hi all,

After our last fly-in, and the discussion about my new glider bag, here is a thread about all those things we can buy cheap in Aldi, Lidl etc etc, that might be interresting for us...

I have an Aldi and Lidl 2 minutes from home, so if you see something interresting but you are too far from it, I can collect it for you to my local shop !

Lots of small, and sometimes not so small stuff out there !

On Sunday, in Aldi :

If you go on to the Lidl website  www.lidl.ie you can sign up for their newsletter. They then send you a couple of emails a week giving you advance notice of the new specials coming in. You thn know about a week ahead whats coming in

If anyone interested in "white foam" :

Woodie's DIY (at Swords) have sheets 1200x600mm, choice from 6 to 50mm.

1200x600x50 = 5.77 euro

The fishing bags in Aldi are back this sunday!



Not too sure if you saw mine, But I put 2 models in one !
Fit a 1 piece 60" wing without any problem. Open in two with protections (great for wings!) External long pocket (for fuselage) etc etc...

Just saw that too. The fishing bag could make a good Transmitter bag if anyone was short of one. The gloves look good as well, going to give them a lash.

Yes I got one as well. :D

I can certainly get my “Whisper” in there and the fuse of the Phase 6. Having a spot of bother fitting the phase 6 wing in as well :?: …………….but I’m working on it! :lol:
