Flying at the week end? (General thread)
« on: October 01, 2009, 12:10:49 PM »
Any flying last week end ?

Was flying at Kilakee, had with me the ASW15 and DG1000.
Flew with Ed with his Cularis and Vector (bit marginal for the Vector, but was still doing good I think!)

So, that was flights 2 and 3 for the ASW15... Just love it !

And I also brought with me the daughter! First time at the slope for her  :D
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

I bought a used ASW 17 once (when I was 16 or so) - after 14 years in the basement, I finally flew it this year - well not last weekend  - but it was a weekend!
This slope is located exactly above the birthplace of the pope...amazing lift there

Small video of the first flight,
here

Greetings from Munich and sorry for the non-irish post...but I just like that pic...

So, the slope is on the birth place of the pope, and there’s loads of lift. A kind of heavenly assent er?

Nice photo, although it must have been taken many weekends ago, (you are wearing shirt sleeves. 8) )

Not been much flying here Karl,…..too much rain! Perhaps I’ll go to Germany and fly off of the Pope’s Slope! :D

Try not to run out of airspeed, altitude and ideas....... all at the same time.

Hi Keith!
Yes, I think this was in September....sorry for that, no pictures from the last weekends - >too cold here (and way to busy) - so I hope for xmas holidays but temperatures are supposed to go down quite significantly. We'll see.

Have a nice weekend!
