Weather for Saturday:
XC predicting light winds from NW in the morning but SW in the afternoon.
I was flying off the South slope on Wednesday…….with clear skies the sun was right in my eyes.

(Low sun at this time of year.)
Sunday the prediction is for stronger north west winds but the possibility of cloud/rain.

(If the rain stayed away there would be plenty of lift off the west slope.)
I think it’s anyone’s guess whether either day will be flyable. (Ironically tomorrow and Monday look to be good. )
As the information stands at the moment I’d take a guess and say there maybe a window on Saturday morning after about 10.00, when the rain is supposed to stop, and before 2pm, when the wind is supposed to reduce and change direction. :?:
That would be a long drive from Dublin for just a couple of hours flying.
May be tomorrows forecast will turn in our favour.
