Killiney Hill Park (Dalkey) ?
« on: December 11, 2009, 12:08:24 PM »
Hi there,

looks like there will be a wind from south-east tomorrow.
Is Killiney Hill any good for midsize models (Stargazer) ?

I will be around early morning ... 9am

/Dennis

Hey Dennis,

Flew there years ago...
Not a lot of space to land, so flew there with a crunchy. And no recovery possible if you land on the slope as there is lots of trees / high stuff...
I have some photos, I try to find them !  :!:
But nice view !
Top is about 10 minutes walk from the car park.
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

Thanks Fred.

That looks dangerous for wooden planes :(

Any other slopes around Dublin for SE winds ?
(I've got an 'approval' for morning flights tomorrow :) )
