Hope the weather improves, not sure where the wifi is coming from but hope to post more pics soon.

So, all they did was talking about gliders...
Here in Ronan's workshop

And the occasional drink and food... Everyday, all day long.. And at night too...

I'm told they are off to Utah Beach now  :D

I am at home resting at last, what a week. My friends everyone should go to Menez Hom at least once in their life, the people the food and the wine is fantastic. I must thank mr Ger Buckley first for proposing to travel to the event and secondly for being so patient with our Cork ways and finally for all the driving, over 1000 miles for the week.
I would also like to thank our fantastic hosts, the Plu family for a wonderful night. A thanks to Lolo and the Pope for their special appearance on the night.
Over the next few days I hope to document our story, that is Les Hommes of the Menez hom. Or in English the Men of the Menez!

finally got a chance to put up some photos of our trip to menez hom.  it was a most enjoyable experience and it proved to me that people who enjoy sports flying gliders are basically the same where ever you go.  anyway, the photos.......

this is a beautiful nemere which had been rebuilt after it crashed when the pilot took his eye off it and didn't notice he was trying to fly someone else's model....it happens to all of us.

this is the group we were mixing with. i'm sure fred can put names to faces better than i can.....

these models are 'l'air 100''s and are some of the best aerobatic models i've seen. 4m wing span, less than 5kg weight and can roll to inverted immediately after launching, that's less than a wing span off the ground......

that young lad on the right is about 15 years old and is a very impressive flyer
