I must say Selleri, I’m very impressed that you clear up your workroom every time you take a picture. :o

I wish I could get into that habbit ..... Mine looks like a complete dump

Don't worry Keith I've got two other tables at the moment for "other stuff!"

I'll take a picture though they are looking rather clean at the moment as I've used up most of the wood.

Just for you Keith!

Who says the Germans don't have sense of humor!!!  :)

Balsa blocks give the hinges something to glue to!

Steel sand, heavy and nice.

Not big.

About 500 gr. in the nose, it'll do until I get all the stuff installed but going by the weight Fred put in his I might easily need another 500 gr. At least it's easier to add weight than remove it!

Dry, dry!

Hmmm, something brewing on the side

No problem Keith!

Added plywood on either side as I need a bit more material for my skid.

Ashlok/Molex connectors keep us plugged in.

Heatshrink on joins.

Equipment plate in the wing area.

Magnets will be used to attach the dashboard.

Then it's on to cutting some plastic.

Three sides ready for some fun.

Primer is sanded off where the canopy plastic is glued to the frame.

Then we apply some glue and wait for it to dry.

After it has dried it's time to get more precise for application of the internal seam. Syringe, silicone tube and a molested q-tip.

Voila!

Hi Selleri,
Nice work. Is that an orange reciever I see in there, some of them are only suitable for park fliers, range is limited to 300 meters. I would be wary of using one in your masterpiece.
John.

Cheers John, no worries it's just for the setup work, don't want any dust on my fancy rx!

Guide for the dashboard.

Dashboards fastners being glued in.

All the plastic is glued in but I still need to glue the insides of the sides.

Great work Selleri. Those Ashlok connectors look very useful. Where can you get them?

As usual, very neat job!
Quick question for you. What glue are you using to glue the canopy to the frame?  :?:  Epoxy?
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!
