Hi there Fred!
I guess I am in already then!  Neil is on his way to the Bruce Springsteen concert as we speak and he has for some peculiar reason requested a "not an early start" for tomorrow    He would never ...

We hope to be there sometime around 12:00 or 13:00 and will bring a range of stuff, moulded, crunchie and combat.

Note to self... better clear this with the wife... Reminder to self... Always easier to get forgiveness than permission... lets let it go for a while more

Hope to see you all tomorrow

Garry

HaHaHa!!!
I just glued the servo bearers back into my middle phase!  I know it is so  very scruffy but you will have to put up with primer on the fuselage.  No way it's getting paint tonight

Last flight I had a dead receiver in Wales and it flew about 2km away before it went in :(   Will be flying again tomorrow

Hi Guys,

I'm afraid I cannot make it tomorrow as I have stuff to do I cannot get out of  - have lots of fun.  I hope to get to the MACI glide in next month - probably on the Saturday.  Fred  - great pictures and video of the last Mount Leinster meeting.

Hi guys,

Well, what a day ! More wind that we can handle !  :D
First of all, thanks for everybody for coming !

We've started the hostilities with combat... God that was good to practice combat again after all these years over here !
Some good laughs !
Joe destroyed my P51 with his 2 tons Skua... Vengeance !!!!!  :P , a few touches and nice recoveries were also on the menu !

We must do it again !!

After that, well, time for mouldies, scales and so on... Another day at the office !

On a sad note, I have broken my KA3  :!:  :!: , and exploded my good old Lo100 canopy !

But enough talking, here are the photos !  Video will follow soon !

Yes, that was a great time.

Must get me one of those Wings. Combat looks shuch fun :D  (May be it's the agressive streak in me wanting to get out!)

Feel very sorry for you Fred, loosing the P51 then the K3. I know you'll do a grand job of repairing them, I'm sure we'll see their silhouette in the sky again before long.
Nice picies too,.........looking forward to the movie!
Try not to run out of airspeed, altitude and ideas....... all at the same time.

P51 already fixed. Was not broken, just the wing unglued. Glued back with 3 drops of epoxy, ready for the next encounter !  :D

BANZAIIIIIIII !!!!!   :D

Ka3, well, I have checked the damages.. 2 hours of work and she will be back flying ! Just the front wood strips are broken, looks bad, but in fact that's the only broken thing !  :D
Advantages of wood building !  :D  :P

So, ready for more combat ?    :D

Hey... excellent stuff Fred :D

Pity about the damage to your scale machines, good news that it is superficial.

We had a great time, well worth the visit to Mount Leinster.  The whole way home in the car, Bob and myself reassured each other about how tired we were.  My eyes were even a bit wind burned...I suppose that's what you should expect standing in winds peaking at well over 60kmh (our Bob had the anemometer to prove it...39mph gusts!!!)

I think my Middle Phase deserves paint now in recognition of it's good behaviour   Have to order a new receiver for my combat weasel after it blew out of my hand and dismantled itself on the way back to the car... Ooops     Hey... It was windy... I was tired... S**t happens

Looking forward to the next sortie alerady

Thank you all for showing us how and where
