I use 3m vinyl paint tape for the paint edge, also try to spray away from the tape and start with a light coat over the tape edge before continuing applying heavier coats.

If you have a very "bad" surface you could start by clear or same colour as is under the tape so the bleed wont be visible.

thanks selleri,  those lines on the k3 are indeed very impressive.  that might be the answer to my problem.

Hi Ger,

Not 100% sure exactly where my last batch of tape came from, could have been Sussex, possibly Inwoods. It probably came from the UK, but it might have come from Marks Models here.

My turn around rate is so low that a few rolls do me quite a long time
