1/4 Scale Ka-1

Fred:
I also did som bits and pieces on the wings.

I closed both ends of the ailerons.

And started to have a look at the airbrakes system. Achim did a really good job here!

All the pieces are in 2mm plywood.

But I have CNCed the supports on the wings for the hinging in epoxy

But I went a bit too fast for the cutting. Haven't payed attention, and cutted the epoxy at 20mm/s with a 0.8mm bit...! Should more be 10mm/s to have them perfect, my mistake !
I'll redo them when I have 5 minutes.

Fred:
And I did the sheeting for the seat in 0.8mm plywood...

And that's all for now !

Happy Days:
Covered ailerons?

Oh, of course, this is a scale model. It all looks very intricate work Fred and coming alone nicely.

But you said something in the beginning of your last post :?: . Something about a family addition :?:  :?:

Could this be another model? No..... that wouldn't be a family addition.

Maybe your mother-in-law is coming to live with you??? (Lucky you!)

Or is there a secrete you've been hiding from us for nine months :D

K.

Brian:
