Well, that's it ! The main building is done (structure).
Now all the sheeting + Servos installation need to be done.

Here is a picture of the Ka1 with 99% of what is going to be the short kit parts fitted (just add your joiner and balsa strips to get to this stage). Missing from the photos are the airbrakes and a few bits and pieces (ailerons top/bottom, cockpit enclosure...)









I'll start the fuselage sheeting next week. Long job ahead !

Or could it be that Aoife has a little brother or sister for you to play with instead? :D

Hey Keith,

Fuselage sheeting is coming out nicely.. But slowly !  :oops:
2 weeks now I haven't done much, too busy with the family ! No baby yet, but should be any time now...

I hope to have it done this week end as the most tricky part (the front fuselage) is almost done.  :D

After that, well, glider is ready to be covered (wings) and for the fisrt flight  :D  I'll post some photos of the process soon...
I made the plan to use 2mm balsa sheeting, much easier if you do a paint finish, but for a bare wood finish, no other choice than spending time doing the sheeting panels by panels...  :!:  :wink:
