Kwik Fly MkIII
« on: October 28, 2026, 22:50:07 PM »
Well, something else for a change.
Something that moved up in the pile of stuff to do, and a combination of (bought new) things I haven’t bought together in a good 30 years!

Seagull Model had the great idea to produce back some old classics, starting with the Kwik Fly mkIII, originally designed by Phil Kraft and won the 1967 F3A WC with it.

Anyway, it was nice for a change to assemble something without using too much of your brain, but the quality is definitely there on the build and covering with pretty much nothing to change there.

So, just few photos, there is not much to it really.

Will be powered by an OS 55, because the plane history needs some respect! And I need a break from the electric stuff!
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!
