Happy Days:
Well, if the winds are good for Kilakee I guess I’ll be flying with just my shadow for company on Mt. L.
Never mind, at least there will be no witnesses to my crashes

Fred:
:(
Well, also, Kilakee, is 10 minutes drive, ML is 1h30 ! Need more brownie points!
And I want to fly the big stuff ! For sure, ML next time we have some big winds ! (20kph+)!
billscottni:
Where's the Kilakee slope Fred?
I always thought it was west side of Ireland.
Fred:
Hi Bill,
This is in the Dublin's Mountain, between Glencree and 3 rocks (roughly!)
West facing is a good slope, and we also have a North facing one (technical one.. Almost flat, but lift is there!)
At Glencree, we have a E - SE slope too but it's a bigish climb.
Nothing really comparable to Mount Leinster, but the Westerly slope is a good one
billscottni:
Thanks Fred,
That would only be 1 1/2 to 2 hours from me if you ever have any "events" there.
