Mini Toons type close-in aerobatics sloper

The first one is at 0:21... see how his tail skids sideways? That's because he's drug the whole top if the plane and fin through the grass, inverted... and he's got enough mass that he sideslips through it and out.

Second one is at 1:18. He's upright but same thing... whacks it through the grass and it causes the whole plane to skid sideways.

Touching the grass and/or ground with belly, fin, and wingtip is a big part of the fun of VTPR flying. There are a lot of different ways to do it, all of them cool :)

Some recent ones, including a tip drag that I'm quite proud of at the end, in this video: http://vimeo.com/25995568

That look fun!

And finally, I brought back some other machines, I'll do some photos tonight if I have a minute.
But basically, that barelly fit in my car! And I have a big car!  :P  :D  :D

AUW is 700Grs, even lighter than mine!
This is the maiden flight in a 15km/h wind.

Happy camper!    :D

Also thanks Keith  :D

On another note, I also brought back this...

The Beast!  :D
I also have the mold with me. And no Keith, the fuselage will not fit in your car! (that's 2.4m long)

Sooooo... Who can cut me wings?  :D

Sod the gardening. Get that plane in the air!  :D

My word, that is one BIG fuse. 8)  Yes, it definitely wont fit in my little car. :(
Maybe I should get a trailer, or an oversize roof rack, or buy a van………Knowing me, I’ll probably just keep dreaming

I can still cut the old fashioned way, using templates and a drop arm cutter. Working 4 nights a week at the minute as one of the other guys is on hols, so progress stopped on my CNC. Is Joe still in the country?
