Fred:
Ok, I though I'll give an update on that one !

Progress so far slow, because of the kits and Christmas, but lots of work done this week !
Formers are on the way (hate doing that!) and wings are almost fully completed !

For the wings, I'm going to change my usual way of doing things, as I had to rethink that because of the gull wing configuration, but they are going to be built flat, on the spar, like some of the Schneider kits  :D

Printed the plan the other day.. Looking forward to start that one !  :D

Fred:
Alright, another quick update  :D
Moving slowly, hate doing the formers ! Spend roughly an hour by former (well, for the one in the middle section with the wing root etc :!: ).
And find an issue with M. Simons 3 views. My root profile is too thick (about 16%) and need to be around 13%.
So, change that before moving further.

I also made my choice of profiles, and going to try a new combination!

The obvious MS535-2 from root to mid wing (where the gull start) to HQ35-10 at the tips.
That gives a nice curve, but I might change the tip to my own symetric one.
Spars and notches are drawn, and I'll get started when I finally decide what I'm going to use.
Alright, I go back to my formers !  :?

billscottni:
What CAD programme are you using Fred?

Fred:
Hey Bill,

I'm using Turbocad  :D
V6.5 used to be free (can still be found on the ternet).
Version now is 17 I think, but I only use the basic tools.

Still trying to learn Solidworks  :!:  :!:

orionis:
Nice drawing, Fred!
Will there be a short-kit in the future?
