due to the weather i'm back in the shed working on the model
i've nearly the second wing finished  :clap: i'm gluing the 1/64 ply capping strips on  
once i get the wings sorted on the fuselage that's the model more or less built  :D so fingers crossed

yes weather is sh*@^% so, I to have been working away in the shed getting a few PSS models build. The build is coming along well by the looks of the photos, looking forward to seeing this glider fly :clap:  :clap:

With all these scale gliders coming in, we should organize a scale gathering some day!  :?:  :D
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

all the capping strips have been added,  the wing tip and leading edge has been glued on now just bit of sanding now if i can just get a dry day to sand it all down  :shock:

nice going andy, coming together very well.  how did you attatch the wings to the fuse???


just a thought, but could that green tractor be converted to r/c and used to bring the 13 back to the pits after landing down the runway..........? hmmmmmm,  i wonder???

this is my 11 year old son Stuart going for his flight in a glider and it's a K13 :-) we spent the afternoon at the Ulster gliding centre yesterday and the pilot is a friend of mine Owen Andreson who done a great job with him :-)

he sure did Bill he's still talkin about it today :-)
Owen said that he sang the whole flight  :lol: when he's singing he's happy
they were up for about 30minutes yesterday the wind was from the east which is the worst direction for the gliding club but Owen managed to get a bit of lift off a ploughed field over Limavady direction others were up and down before Stuart :-)
