Hi Andrew. I used a 10m roll of white solartex on my K8 and there was plenty left over. Although your K13 is a bit bigger than my K8  :?:  .

after a fortnight of really warm weather i finally can get back into the shed   temperatures were nearly reaching 40 degree's was worried for a few of my fuselages in case they warped in the heat and a lot of covering has wrinkled biggest fear was the lipo batteries put them in boxes and left them outside.

Great work. Did you have much left of the 10m roll?

Hmm, four years in the making, numerous  sleepless nights of worry, all for today’s big flight.
Good luck ol’ friend, we’ll all be praying for you to have a soft landing with her. Let us know how you get on.

(I’ll be enjoying these westerly’s today as well.)

Well not long back after travelling to the mountain to maiden the K13
Conditions today were maybe a little to blustery 20 + mph  but I went on ahead and gave it a go
Thanks to Richard and Diane who travelled from Craigavon to help with the first flight
And what can I say the big model just flew out of Richards hands had a lot of down trim to put in and a few clicks of left aileron and it was sorted  :D
Really pleased with the result

Getting ready now to start building the wing of a 1/4 scale Slingsby Skylark  :D
