Hi Chris,
You will usually find a few of us flying on Sat afternoons approx 2.30 on the slope approx 2K beyond Kilakee carpark. This slope is suitable for flying in SW to NW winds. The Glencree slope is suitable for S or SE winds and there is also a smaller slope for when the wind blows from the North. What are you flying?

Hi Keith,
Why not use what you have and smooth over to profile with a lightweight spackle filler available in diy shops.

Hi all,
Reliving my youth with my brothers, yes  we are building control line combat wings Dominators to be precise with PAW diesel engines to fly combat together as we did in the early seventies. Question is, can the wire be obtained anywhere in Ireland?

And she flies, went straight off the board. I was enjoying myself ( it was a little windy for the wee thing) until the rudder horn broke free in flight, no damage done she landed like a butterfly. I'm not sure about the range of this radio system, I have been told perhaps 300 yards, we will see.

Hi all,
I've been busy these past rainy weeks with my 25 inch span aerographics kit. I covered it with lightspan (more difficult to apply than tissue and dope, but much stronger for similar weight). It's 2 channel 2.4ghz micro radio gear and all up flying weight with ballast came in at 38 grammes. Just need to add a pilot now and wait for the right flying conditions.

Ah! but Dart had his personal breathing apparatus and perhaps burnt flesh is not so toxic. Like barbecued pork. Use the forks Luke.

Verry nice Fred, and compact too,
I get  laser cut forms made for die cutting paper & board and I have been told the laser does not like some types of glues used in the manufacture of some plywoods and can cause fires.
Have fun,
John.
