Hi there,
Finally home after a lovely day for flying ! :D
We arrived at the slope at around 12.30 with Joe, followed by Alan, Peter and a new comer, Fernando (Ice Wind) !
Very good wing, right where it should be, and sun !
As Alan said, like a bad summer day ! But in January, it's more like a really good winter day ! :D
We've also organise an informal/test F3F run on a small 40 mtrs leg.
Well, over 10 runs, Joe is the club champion with 1.25, followed by me at 1.26 !
The slope is not the best, well, very far from being the best, but we had a good laugh !
Alan was the official time keeper, and we shared the bases between Joe and myself.
We must do it again ! on a decent slope, the "competition" can really be good ! Who wants to join us ?
So, here are a few photos (spend time flying !) of the day.
Need to put some sun cream on my face now !

And the sun in the face all day long ! :!:

And here is Fernando and his girlfriend from Portugal. Was cheating most of the time with his SwiftII ! Sloping with an electric motor ! :P :P And that was his first flight in Ireland !
A small video will follow soon...

Thanks for sharing the photos Fred.
Yeah! very nice day at the slope. Sunny and warm (for January that is). Lots of good flights and all machines went home the way they arrived.
Not bad at all! :D

Good to see everyone on the slope yesterday - great to get out and get some flying in. Nice photographs Fred - what a sky!

Nice video Fred. Anybody flying Dublin area this weekend. Looks like a southerly or southeasterly wind. Either south of Sally Gap or Glencree. May be Glencree on Sunday afternoon for me.
-
Dont say that! :(
Last weekend i was grounded due to the bad weather and this one coming i'll be away off from Ireland! :(
-
Thanks for the comments guys !
For sunday (yep, last week end was.. well, wet ! :!: :!: ) i have some family, they will not be able to go on top of Glencree, but I'll pass by and say hello if I see someone (we'll go walking a bit to see the lake, where the mast is behind glencree).
Next week end hopefully !
