We set a new a milestone in the model histoy here in Iceland tonight when we did the first indoor aerotow! Good friend of mine wanted to get back to his beginning with a little twist. He found the plans for a Keil Kraft Kirby(Slingsby) Prefect (http://www.vintagemodelcompany.com/kk-kirby-prefect.html) with a 24" wingspan and enlargened it to 35". He controls it with elevator and rudder and has a working release in the nose and a hook on the belly.
All in all we made five tows tonight and I've got no doubt that we'll do plenty more in the future.
I'm waiting for a video from another source but until then I'll leave you with few photos of Frimann the builder and his 35" Prefect.
