hiye Joe
Twins, 'only our mother can tell us apart!!' ha ha ha
-
Hi Joe,
You did'nt have to model it on yourself !!.
Though the likeness is striking.
-
AAaaaawwwwww ! Like the snowman ! :D
-
Didn't realise when I was building it but yes there is a likeness there. Well if you have a good design. Stick to it!
Looking forward to giving it a go Bill. Something I can do in front
of my house as well as field or slope so hopefully I'll get some use out of it. If I order now I might actually have it ready for the summer!
-
get a sport tube or a gun case and you can take it on tour with you
-
I would if I ever had a chance to fly it! Maybe one day in a 5 week tour. Not worth the hassle. Holidays though. I would like to bring it with me next time I head for the sun.

I take a bet that the only day, the perfect day for a good DLG session, you will forget it at home  8-[

So DLG arrived today. Looks good. Light, strong and well made. Will take a bit of time and careful work to get it ready to fly. It's in the queue now. I'd say it'll be march before it makes it to the building board :(

Nice Joe.
Where did you buy that from?
-
I got it direct from a distributor in Asia. It is available on ebay (search for DLG glider), http://www.r2hobbies.com and a few other places.
I can also order them, they take 2/3weeks to get here. About €155 shipped.

Thanks Joe,
I'll bear it in mind for when compensation eventually comes through!!

Nice model Joe.
I’m particularly interested in the colour scheme. I’d like to know how it works at a distance. :?:
You must ask your 'Better Half' to film you when you come to launch it,…….That I want to see!!!
I think you should wear a Kilt when you launch it. Like Bill when he “Tosses his Caber”
Although, perhaps on second thoughts……………..

Reminds me of the VERy old joke about what's worn under a kilt?.
NOTHING! It all works perfectly
-
I don't wish to know that! (T.M.I.)

Envy?

Hi Joe , great looking DLG and good value !!!!
I am so glad to see another victim of the hand launch club.
I have been flying DLGs for a couple of years and started with a mountains models DL50 , I had so much fun with this wee plane. I then bit the bullet and got a Blaster 2 , It is a fantastic second level plane.
The feeling you get from hitting a thermal from a hand launch is better than sex lol.
Have fun and keep us posted.

Hi Joe.
Look's like a nice glider. Do you think a 300 mAh HiMH battery would be enough for a four servo model. You would not get much flying time from it would you? I have a 1000 mAh HiMH battery in mine that I made up myself using AAA HiMh rechargeable batteries. Had to shoe horn it in though, does take up a bit of space.

Hi Joe, how is your glider flying ?
