Hi!
Enjoyed couple more flights with my Quark, this time at "Pointe du Skeul" Belle-ile en mer, Bretagne, France. Awesome spot, with endless wind! Just need to prepare some ballast for next sessions.
Now waiting for next holidays!

Hi there!

Finally, I was able to maiden my Quark at Mt Salève, France near Switzerland, with a 15-20 kmh wind. It flies awesome and easy, thank you Fred!!
Weighs approx 1400g with 5 nimh 2000 mah and 100g lead. Needs a bit more wind than my ahi, but the inertia difference is so cool!
I just need to complete the covering with a more flashy extrados.
Now waiting for the next flights, maybe Belle-ile en mer, Bretagne, France.

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately my model air club has been forced to close due to construction project; so I must have to find an accessible slope. Nevertheless, I would be interested to see your tow hook pics.

My Quark is near finished, and I was wondering about tow hook position: bottom centered or aside for easier access?
Any pics welcome!
