Now Bantry Market, on fair day - first Friday in the month, is a place you can buy almost anything.
Ducks, chickens, a Jaunty Cart and a pony to go with it, shoes, clothing, old cast-iron pumps, books, assorted furniture, CDs, and loads more besides.
But.... Nowhere in Bantry, market or no market, can I buy large, wing-holding-on-sized elastic bands.

What do people here do to hold their wings on?
Maybe none of them are Angels, so they haven't got wings.
Maybe Angels don't use elastic bands.
Maybe there's a world shortage of elastic bands.
Should I watch the commodity market for signs of elastic prices springing up.
Perhaps that would be stretching a point.
(You knew that had to come in somewhere!)

So come on people... Where are all the wing-sized elastic bands?

The elastic bands we use for our wings in my opinion are specialised. You wont find them in an "ordinary" shop. In general nobody has a use for such large elestic bands except us. Thats why you generaly can only find them in model shops.

Yes I suppose you are right Alan.
Probably in large centres of population too, where there's a bigger turnover, and maybe in craft shops.

That's for that Kevin, I'll have to send for some.

I used to know someone who worked in a parcels office, and he had a good supply.
