If we meet at the Kilakee west slope out past the Hellfire and then drive on from there to SW slope at Laragh.

Really enjoyed flying today. Good to meet some newcomers, Faun, Antonio and Patrick. Winds were a bit challenging at times but think everyone got in some good flying.

Fred, the Algebra was a superb flyer, impressive.    Not sure if I can manage to build it but if you have the plans to look at I'll think about as project over the winter. :D

cheers
David

Looks like it was a good day - I was tempted but had already cashed in my glider tokens.  Took a look at the weather forecast mid-week and decided Friday was the best day - so spent a couple of hours at Kilakee on Friday afternoon.  Wind oblique from NW but lift improved through the afternoon - great flying.  Peace and quiet only disturbed intermittently by a power flyer!! Hope to see everyone at Mount Leinster next month - or closer to Dublin next weekend if the weather allows.
