BBC2 tv 08.05 Sunday 22nd december
« on: December 15, 2019, 18:59:46 PM »
Just been watching the BBC program "Country File" in which there's five minutes on RC flight, both powered and slope soaring gliders. Evidently this program is repeated on BBC2 at 0805 next Sunday morning. :)

Don't often see much about RC flight on TV these days!
Try not to run out of airspeed, altitude and ideas....... all at the same time.

They were at Ivinghoe Beacon for some slope soaring, then one of the presenters tried a flight on a buddy box with Andy Symonds of the BMFA at a power site. Suspect it was quite heavily edited as no mention of the BMFA and Andy never misses a chance to publicise the work of the BMFA

Saw it too. Well done to all involved!
But as usual, would have loved to see more! :)
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!
