Bits for indoor flying
« on: March 18, 2010, 15:29:28 PM »
I need some space so I’m having a clear out. Here’s a job lot going for sale.

1 Hacker A10 - 7L motor
1 Pentium 10amp ESC
1 Futaba 2.4Ghz R6004FF indoor rx
All the above are used, but in perfect working order. (Trust me)

But that’s not all………..included in this once in a life time offer are. (Well,……. once in my life time anyway!)

1 brand new (still in box) Park 250 motor
Selection of unused slow fly props

€80 for the lot.

Er,………..in a word.......... No!

With the ‘better’ weather I don’t think many people are looking for indoor items.

I could drop the price, or advertise it on Ebay, that might find a buyer.

Truth is I can’t be bothered at the moment so it all got stuffed back in the draw! (With all the other unwanted stuff. You don't want a fuel tank  for a Pulse 60? or a clear canopy & undercarriage for a U.C.D.? or an old sock with a hole in it, or a ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz  )

Keith

Hi Ger,……………..don’t think we’ve met before, welcome to the party.

I’m sure I’ve still got the stuff that I advertised somewhere. :?:  But I put that ad in a long time ago. I should have bagged it all up, but being me I kinda left it lying around the workshop. :!:
(It’s a bit like when the wife asks me to do the washing up. “Okay,” I reply, “I will…….one day.”)

Anyway, it must still all be here, I’m just not too sure where!

Did you want all the items, or just some of them?

Okay Ger, I’ll try and dig out the gear sometime between now and the weekend.

I’m really not very experienced at indoor flying. I had a go of it for about 4 or 5 months last winter. Although an interesting experience it’s not something that really grabbed me! So to speak.

The model I was using was a Biplane called a “Pipe” Brought from Robotbirds it’s an F3A type with an EPP fuse. (Essential for those ‘unconventional landings’ that happen sometimes. ) The item number was 401126. I think it cost about £40

There are many other, much more knowledgeable and experienced indoor fliers on this forum. For good advise I suggest you put a new topic in the “Indoor” section of this forum and ask for some advise. I’m sure you’ll get loads of replies. :)

Well guys, I was sorting though a draw of electrical bits & pieces tonight, (looking for something else ) and I came across these items that I’d advertised last year on this post.

Dear Mr. Kilbey never actually purchased them,  and I’d forgotten all about them till tonight.

So,……. anyone interested in buying the items listed above?

Roll-up Roll-up Roll-up!
