Erwan,
I am very tempted, the ferry going out Thurs nite and returning Sunday nite. €298.
Is there camping nearby? I am sorry I started this post as it is to be either a Pilatus B4 (1/3.5 scale) or a quick weekend in Falaise.. :?:  :?:  :?:

Hello

You can put your tent on camping just on the airfield. If you want to come , put a private message to Ronan for reserv for the lunch.

Hi all,
Sorry, was in the no internet land for the last few days  :(

Just to confirm the dates, this is in 2 weeks, week end of the 24 and 25th!
I have sent a mail to the MACI to have the original dates changed when we decided to move the meeting a week further, but never got a reply, nor the dates were changed!  :!:

Ralph, try to make it to Falaise if you have the opportunity! 10th year anniversary, good food and wine, big gliders, and well... the Falaise team!  :D

it is very tempting. weather keeps changing though. Looks as it may be drizzle for the weekend? Also Kevin Barry may travel aswell.  Ferry is okay price wise  Out thurs nite and return Sunday evening.
I will make my mind up tomorrow

BTW have you ever bought stuff from Miniplumes? Looking at the 4.5m Pilatus

Hey Ralph,

Sorry, saw your PM! Forgot, checking that now!

For Miniplumes now.. Ordered a few fuselages, but be aware that quality can be irregular to be honest. I know the guy, so I never had issues, but others had finish quality issues.

But to be honest, for the price you pay these fuselages (the cheapest on the net by far!) if you need a bit of filler there and there and a bit of paint, I'm good with it, still worth the money in my opinion!

For better finish, you can buy in Germany (Rosenthal, Gewalt etc), but prices are definitively not the same.

Fred - with 2 big Pilatus fuselages in the garage!  :P  (not Miniplumes though!)
