That is good news : D
Will be good to catch up with you and show you around. You can even stay at my house, and I have enough gliders for an army!
Lots of stuff to visit/see on either part of the country, and I will be glad to show you around Dublin etc : D
And drink.
And Guinness.
And drink.
And maybe taste some Guinness.
And I have the Johnnie Fox 10 minutes from the slope : D
I've heard tall tales of this Guinness of which you speak! Surely such a magical thing can't exist, can it!?
Let's not get crazy with the tourist thingy, one pic at the G spot, one with green hills and then with the local leprechaun.
That should see me well sorted, lol.
So your thinking of visiting the Emerald Isle? Excellent! Yes, bring your camera. You’ll be able to get lots of pictures of some really beautiful cloud formations here. I don’t mean ‘Stratus’ or ‘Cirrus’ cloud, I’m talking here about mist, fog, and another type of dense cloud we call ‘rain‘. Sometimes we spend the entire day with our ‘heads in the clouds.’ :lo l:
But to be serious for a moment,......There are normally a couple of glide-ins on the Big L around April /May time so maybe you could time your visit to coincide with one of those. BTW what mode do you fly Selleri? (We’ll see if we can rustle up a model or two for you to play with.)
So keep us up to date with your plans.
Just been thinking, the only difference between Ireland and Iceland is the ‘c’. Get the joke?!…. ‘c’ …..(sea) :lo l: Oh, never mind, it was a bad joke anyway. : (
Little Keith.
I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship LK! :?:
The camera is more for the models and to keep me planted firmly on the ground.
I'm well versed with these formation you speak off, we even get the freezing kind over here!
I'm a bit restricted on travel time frame as I'll be visting my relatively new niece(got to start early with the uncle stuff) so 22. - ~28./29./30.May is about the only time I can squeese into the plan.
So the Kerry thing was a nice excuse for a visit, I'm also open to suggestions if there is some activity closer to Dublin as I understand there is much work needed around Fred's hangar and a few barkeeps we need to sort out!
God Keith, that was a bad one! But in a funny way :lo l: :lo l:
Wise man that Keith, think of the unthinkable (for me)!
I have 4 radios, all Mode1... Just in case, if you are not coming with gliders, and you are mode 2 (aka the girly mode), bring a radio with you : D
Well I'm more used to Mode 3 or 4... nahh not realy, Mode 2 and got the chest hair to prove it!
Bringing a radio might be more of a challenge, I'm using 2.4 DSM2 at the moment and sold the 35 gear before they stopped selling.
But judging from Fred's first post I might not need a Tx to fly!
