New car for Fred :o)) - Useless thread, but I'm happy... :)
« on: March 30, 2010, 15:42:16 PM »
After our last meeting, decided that it was time to change car ! After a few years of good service, my Scenic is now too small !

Found a new car, will collect it on Thursday, and I can put lots of gliders in that thing ! More mess to bring with me at the slope !!  :D  More room and confort when going to meetings ! And most important, I can put more than 1 big glider in the boot !!

The new Fred's mobile :  :D

Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

Happy Days

Cor!, that’s a nice car Fred,………is that the model with double overhead camshafts, 5 valves per cylinder, high compression pistons, and a four stage inline supercharger? 8)

Or is it the cheap version with only an en suit? :(

(Bloody boy racers  )

K.

Well Fred,

I hope this is a Diesel.... I am driving the Ford-version of this car as a Diesel at about 6,5 to 7.5 Liter per 100 km. I remember a friend with the same car with a gas engine..... He bought something else after a while.

Congratulations and welcome to the SGA-Family.

Hey Lothar,

Went for the 1.9 Diesel  :D  Hope I made a good choice, first time I don't have a Renault ! (well, errr... had a Daewoo for not too long...   )

Keith, I went for the cheapo cheap cheapest stuff I could find for that size !
I'm ruined !    (well, as usual...)

But, I can bring my gliders without damages at the slope, most important stuff !  :D

....as long You take care of oil and the regular teeth-belt exchange, You will be happy with this car. ......it's a VW-engine.

Mine run till today about 280.000 km without big problems.
