I am sure it will fly in our summer weather. The carbon LE and spar will make it quite rigid and strong. I would be interested in the weight of the model so far and if you had any information on the materials used for the printing. I am sure someone is bound to want to print something like this

Keep up the good work

Hi Alan.

Once it is completed I will take it to one of the meetings for sure.
Regarding the weather to be able to fly it, that is another thing.  :)
Every once in a while I get some suitable weather around the house, so, maybe I will put it to use.

Thanks

Hi all,
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to postpone our Glider Guiders Gathering originally planned for the 8th June.
We will now have it one week later, on the Saturday,15th June.
Apologies for this change, hopefully we’ll still see the usual great gathering on the day.
Regards,
Gerry B

Hi Fred,

The problem I had with the Micro Quark was down to a corrupted model on the transmitter, that I thought I had deleted, but evidently hadn't.
Once I realised that was the problem, the Micro Quark flew relatively happily in the turbulent conditions. I'm well pleased with its performance.
It handled the conditions very well I thought, and waggled its wings at Ralph and yourself as you headed off (maybe not deliberately though...).

The corrupted model is definitely deleted now. Definitely.

Sorry to hear that Bill, hope you got better!

Yesterday, sun came out, and we left the slope at 18.30 after some last flights with the asw15. My good old friend 🥰

Was a brilliant day, at least for me anyway, with plenty of flying and very good company!

Today, we ended up 3 of us at the west slope. Wind was a strong SW, so that gave some odd conditions. But that what makes slope soaring interesting!

Nice flight with the asw15, Ralph with his mini Ellipse, and Chris his Micro Quark.

Left early, but with a smile! Good weekend! 😃😃

Here are a few more photos. And some galaxies from the B&B with my new toy 😁

Next weekend, Kerry for a week of slope soaring with the Frenchies, followed by the Macon PSS competition.

See you all in June!

sorry I didn't make it down. A 4 hr drive with a screaming headache just didn't appeal. Hope you get good weather the rest of the weekend

So, here we go again! 😃

Pretty windy, and had a big shower, but so far, 10 pilots showed up from all over the Country 👍

A bunch of flights done, now having a good social catch up. Blue sky is coming our way for an even better day!
